Highlights:

  • The 2019 retail investment market saw 105 sales with a total sales figure of $0.454 Billion. Among those transactions was the share sale of Cottonwood Mall at 45585 Luckakuck Way in Chilliwack; the regional shopping centre was purchased by local developer, PCI Developments, for $87,436,000 Million.
  • There are now over 2,600,000 (estimated) people living in Metro Vancouver.
  • Retail sales in the province increased due to higher sales at food and beverage stores.
  • BC real estate building permits totaled $1.576 Billion.
