Company Overview

Our story began in 1967 with the redevelopment of Vancouver’s historic Gastown area, leading to the formation of Town Group Realty Ltd. in 1970. By 1997, Town Group Realty had become an affiliate of J.J. Barnicke Limited, which grew to be Canada’s largest independently owned commercial real estate firm. In 2007, J.J. Barnicke was acquired by the global firm DTZ, and we rebranded as DTZ Barnicke. As DTZ formed a new alliance a few years later, our company announced a move to join US-based Lee & Associates in January 2016. Today, Lee & Associates Vancouver proudly stands as the first Canadian office of North America’s largest broker-owned commercial real estate firm.

For over five decades, our team has been dedicated to serving buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and institutions across key asset classes including industrial sales and leasing, retail sales and leasing, office leasing, land sales, and investment sales.
